Wing Xi is one of a lineup of characters created for a series idea that Ive been knocking around for about 6000 years. I've recently overhauled the general concept, but some of these characters stand up. I think little Wing does. Kick that demon's ass, girl!

VB3 incoming

That highly popular TV program entitled "The Venture Brothers' is 3rd-seasoning any minute now, according to my inside sources. But you didn't hear it from me.

Rough Stuff

VIOLA FALLS - what's that? the OGN. Nearly done (really truly). These are roughs for a couple of fixes. What am I talking about? OGN. Come on, GWTP! p.s. XOX

ExtraSpecialGirl

Well, see, here's the thing. It started with a face. Then it grew into a spec SG cover. The pose is a rather lame, but hey- she ain't gotta pose much in that outfit. It looks to me like she's descending, sheepishly sneaking home after a night of super-ing (or avoiding super-ing).

Acting Beats

Okay, I know, I know (he sang to the Imaginary Inquisitor). But this is what a board should look like (he ranted to his fellow hellmates). The one & only Venture Brothers.

Wake Up li'l Suzy

Recycling some old bits, as I'm spending all my free art time remastering the graphic story "Viola Falls". This is my third grade alchemy teacher, drawn from memory. Her name was Mrs. Obsidian, but we called her Suzy. Here she is demonstrating the genteel art of levitation.
Play Nice

A stray panel from TMNT (Tepid Mental Nonsense Turd-dolls) storyboard from about 1000 (count 'em) years ago.

Lunch Notes

Every schoolday morning for 4-odd years, I would grab a scrap of paper & dash off a note for my daughter's lunch. A nice ritual, as I never knew what would come out, and they were 2-minute exercises in spontaneous concentration & creation. Or something like that.

Viola Falls

About 25 odd year ago, 15 odd year before I was born, I made a 70-page graphic novel called 'Viola Falls'. Then I gave away a few copies & promptly forgot about it. This was before constructive anatomy or any other rational convention of commercial art ever crossed my transom. Rendered in india ink on rough-tooth illustrators board. It's bizarre & strange & not the way I draw now. But I think it has a certain mad integrity and I'm currently cleaning it up for a reprint. I'll also be adding simple grey-scale tones, to make it a bit easier on the eye. What d'ya know! Eternity DOES exist, Daphne!
