Hey Pedro- I deleted your comment by accident while tinkering with the post. You asked about the coloring process on these.
Both of these were spontaneous ink sketches, no pencils or premeditation.
A simple photoshop trick for coloring monotone art:
-Scan the image into pshop. -Select all and duplicate on a new layer. -Use Hue/Saturation to colorize the new layer. -Erase the parts of the new layer to reveal previous layer. -Repeat from source layer to color other sections of the image. -Season to taste.
Nice. I like the effect. Gotta say though, I don't think my pshop came with any seasoning... damn! In all honesty though, I have my ups and downs with pshop. I used to be a big time ink and watercolor fella, but the scanning became too much so I moved into illustrator.
